SHARJAH (IQNA) – The second edition of the International Quranic Forum organized by Al Qasimia University concluded in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates.

Int’l Quranic Forum Concludes in UAE’s Sharjah

 

Titled “Human Values in the Holy Quran”, the two-day event was hosted by the university’s College of the Noble Quran.

Scholars, researchers and students of Quranic universities from different Muslim countries took part in the forum.

It also included a number of sidelines sessions featuring social and moral values in the Quran.

In the final statement of the forum, the participants stressed the need for creation of a joint data bank of Muslim world Quranic faculties with the aim of enhancing cooperation and sharing date of scholarly studies.

A number of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed between the College of the Noble Quran at Al Qasimia University, the Holy Quran and Quranic sciences faculty of Al-Azhar Islamic University, and the Dar-ul-Quran center of Indonesia.

​The College of the Noble Quran at Al Qasimia University, which was established in 2017 as the first college of the Noble Quran in the country, seeks through this forum to provide the scientific arena with valuable research and innovative suggestions.
