Islamic Jihad Official Reiterates Continuation of Palestinian Resistance
Speaking at a large gathering of people on the anniversary of Palestinian prisoners’ escape from Israel’s Gilboa jail, Khaled al-Battash said Palestinians will keep resisting the occupation, Al-Alam news network reported.
He added that the Palestinian heroes of freedom-fighting have dealt painful blows to the Israeli regime and proved that the will play their role under any circumstances until all Palestine is liberated.
Battash said the steadfastness and heroism of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails shows that Palestinians never give up their struggle for liberating their land and putting an end to the occupation.
He also hailed a recent operation in which at least seven Israeli settlers, including six soldiers, were injured after armed attackers opened fire on a bus in the occupied West Bank.
The Islamic Jihad official underscored that only through armed resistance can Palestinians liberate Al-Quds.
The shooting occurred near Route 90 in the Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank on Sunday.
The Israeli regime forces apprehended two Palestinians suspected of carrying out the attack. A third suspect reportedly managed to flee, and a manhunt has been launched to capture him.
