Book on Islamic Unity, Awareness Unveiled in Pakistan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Cultural Center in Peshawar, Pakistan, recently unveiled a book titled “Islamic Unity, Islamic Awareness” in Urdu.

 

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, it was unveiled in a ceremony during the Iranian Book Week’s programs held in cooperation with the Center for Translation and Publication of Islamic Teachings and Human Sciences.

The ceremony was held at Peshawar University with the participation of Jawhar Ali Janishin, the university’s president, Fadhl Nasir, head of the association of the university’s teachers, Fakhr-ol-Islam, Dean of the Pakistan Studies Department, Yusuf Hussein, Dean of the Persian Studies Department, Ibrahim Dehnadi, a member of Iranian embassy in Peshawar, Mehran Eskandarian, Iranian cultural representative in Pakistan and the university’s teachers and students.

Mohammad Hussein Urdoush is author of the 765-page book. It is a research work on Islamic unity and awareness from past to the present. 

It is an introduction to Pan-Islamism, solidarity and proximity of Islamic schools of thought and the causes of religious divisions in Muslim countries.

The author has also introduced Seyyed Jamaluddin Asadabadi in his book and elaborated on the efforts of the scholar inpromoting Islamic unity and awareness.
