Al-Tahirah Magazine Investigates “Muslim Woman and Ideals”

Today’s condition of Muslim women in Islamic societies and how far it is from the ideals have been investigated in the new edition of Al-Tahirah Magazine.

The 223rd edition of the magazine has been published in Arabic by the Islamic Thought Foundation affiliated to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.

“Principles of Islamic View on Women” is the title of this volume and its cover showcases a Muslim mother and her child.

Editorial of the volume has been titled “Muslim woman, realities and ideals” and “why Muslim women lag behind in Islamic societies”, “women and identity crisis” and “why women are socially and economically dependent on men” are some of the articles in this edition.

“Al-Tahirah” and the English language magazine titled “Mahjubah” are the two specialized magazines, among 12 more journals published by the foundation.
