New Mobile App: Mohaqiq Al-Quran
Nowadays we are so blessed that modern technologies have made it even more simple and easy for us to be able to benefit from the words of Allah. It is a vastly different experience to have such a convenient access to the entire scripture through our hand-held devices, compared to only a few years ago when the only option was a paper print.
Mohaqiq app provides a topic-based collection and presentation of relevant Quranic verses/references. A reference is a single verse or adjacent verses explaining a selected topic. Mohaqiq focuses on contextual relevance between a given topic and verses in Quran, and does not necessarily look for 'exact word' match. Mohaqiq also presents full text of Al-Quran for simple reading and recitation.
At present, Mohaqiq has a collection of about 200 subject-words, which can collect and present about 500 references from the Holy Quran. This app (Android Version) is available in six languages (Arabic, French, English, Russian, Persian and Urdu). (iPhone Version) at this time is available in English only. The producers are working on adding more languages for both versions.
Mohaqiq does not claim to have covered all possible subjects as it relates to our day to day life. Also it does not suggest that all possible references from the Holy Quran on a given subject are collected and presented, but a best possible effort is made to present sufficient available references explaining the subject. The author of the app is not a scholar but a common reader of the Quran with a desire to really look for the information, guidance and wisdom in the Book as it relates to our daily life.
