New Vol. of Shia Magazine Published in Mali

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the 35th volume of Sakina-Ashura Magazine was published in Bamako, the Republic of Mali.




The auspicious occasion is the main theme of the new edition of the magazine published by Shia Muslims of the country in 12 colorful pages.



The editorial of the edition addresses those who oppose celebrating the birth anniversary of the holy prophet (PBUH) and investigates the viewpoints of Salafi and Wahhabi groups in this respect and present scientific documents as well as authentic Hadiths which support Muslims’ rituals on the occasion.



The biography of the holy prophet of Islam (PBUH) and supplications advised to be recited on the occasion have been discussed in another part of the program.



There are also some news about the march of Al-Mustafa International University’s students towards the holy city of Karbala, an educational course for Muslim preachers at the Iranian Cultural Center in Mali, death of the butcher of Sabra and Shatila and the significance of the number “40” among Muslims and its reasons in the volume.



Sakina-Ashura is the only Shia magazine published in Mali in French and Arabic languages in cooperation with students from among followers of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) school of thought.
