Muhammad Ali Mosque; A Jewel on Top of Cairo Citadel
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha or Alabaster Mosque is located at the top of Citadel of Cairo. The mosque was commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha, then de-facto ruler of Egypt, and completed in 1848.
