Online Quranic Course in Lebanon’s Baalbek Aims to Enhance Recitation Skills
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quranic course began in Baalbek Province, north of Lebanon, last week with lessons aimed at boosting the recitation skills of the participants.
The Baalbek branch of the Tawjih and Irshad (guidance and counselling) Society has organized the course, starting on Thursday.
Named Imam Reza (AS), the Quranic program includes lessons on Sawt (melodious voice) and Lahn (rhythm).
Twenty-seven Quran learners aged 15 and more have taken the course, which is held virtually via WhatsApp.
Lebanese Quran expert and qari Seyed Abbas Othman is the main instructor and Seyed Ahmed Mohammad Shukr is the supervisor.
Earlier this year, the society organized a similar Quranic course for women in Baalbek with the participation of 69 Quran learners.
