Int’l Conference on Religion-Government Relation Planned in Tunisia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international conference is planned to be held in Tunisia on the relation between religion and government in the contemporary Muslim world.

 

According to Al-Ahraam website, the Mominoun Without Borders Islamic Research Institute will organize the event, 

Abduljavad Yasin, an eminent Egyptian researcher, will be among the keynote speakers at the opening ceremony of the program.

The objective of the international event is to investigate the relation between government and religion after the recent uprisings in the Arab world and its influence on Arab countries.

The two-day conference will be held on June 14 and 15 in the capital of the North African country.
