Taziyeh Performances in Ahvaz
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Taziyeh performances are held in Ahvaz, southwestern Iranian province of Khuzestan, during the first ten days of the lunar Hijri month of Muharram.
Taziyeh is a kind of passion play telling the story of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the 680 AD Battle of Karbala.
