According to a military report from a source on the ground, the Russian and Syrian forces launched their biggest attack of the offensive this morning, causing several explosions that could be heard throughout the capital city.
The joint Russian-Syrian attack primarily targeted the Daesh-held areas inside Hajar Al-Aswad, Yarmouk Camp, and Al-Tadamon.
At the same time, the Syrian army’s 42nd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division, alongside Liwaa Al-Quds, stormed the Daesh’s last positions along the southwestern axis of 30th Street.
Intense clashes are now ongoing at this aforementioned axis and several other areas around Daesh-held southern Damascus.
