TEHRAN (IQNA) – The second edition of an international conference on “Interfaith Dialogue for Peace” will be organized in Vienna, Austria, on February 26 and 27.

According to IINA, “Dialogue among Followers of Religions for Peace; Strengthening Coexistence and Respecting the Variety in the Shadow of Common Citizenship” is the title of this edition of the program.

It will be held by KAICIID in cooperation with the Union of the Muslim World Universities affiliated to ISESCO.

According to the organizers, the main objectives of the conference are to provide an opportunity for different institutes, leaders of religions, policy-makers and international organizations to exchange experiences, to set a tribute for regional dialogue among religious institutes and the leaders of religions in the Arab world and promoting cooperation and social solidarity based on the principles of agreement and dialogue in order to create peace among the followers of religions and cultures.

The participant will discuss themes including “the methods of promoting social solidarity and common citizenship”, “peaceful coexistence among followers of religions and cultures through dialogue”, “cooperation among leaders of religions, religious institutes and policy-makers and how to promote it” and “the new media and their role in promoting peaceful coexistence and common citizenship”.
